How to cite a book in APSA step by step

  1. Author and year. Invert the author name and follow it with the year, since APSA places the date directly after the author.
  2. Italicize the title. Set the full book title in italics, capitalized headline style.
  3. Place and publisher. Give the place of publication and the publisher after the title.
  4. Edition. Add the edition after the title when it is not the first.
